The studios

In 2024 a Transformation Grant from National Capital Presbytery turned our old Sunday school rooms into artist studios and a small gallery. Local artists and a writer work there now. They don't have to join the church. They only have to believe in community.

Community Curator Pam Huffman puts up a new show every few weeks, giving priority to new, local artists of color. Find us on the upper level of the church, up the iron stairs.

Threads of Culture, Threads of Memory, paintings by Jose A. Quinonez, through October 14. Twenty percent of all sales go to Just Neighbors, which provides immigration legal services in Northern Virginia.

Come make art

ArtTogether: Saturday, October 17, at 1 pm. Bring what you're working on, or use our supplies to start something new, in community with other artists.

Out front, the Free Little Art Gallery works like a little free library for art: take a piece, leave a piece.
