What we're building
Our main floor is becoming a coffee bar and community room, about 1,000 square feet, open to the whole neighborhood. Come for good coffee and a seat. You don't have to belong to the church, and nobody will give you a sales pitch.
Planned hours
Monday through Saturday, 7 am to 3 pm. Sunday, 8 am to 1 pm. We'll post final hours before we open.
What the room is for
Espresso, drip coffee and tea all day, with wifi and tables for anyone who needs a place to work or meet. Neighborhood groups, support groups, book clubs, small concerts and art shows can use the room too.
Help from friends
Ridgetop Coffee & Tea, the coffee ministry of Riverside Presbyterian Church in Sterling, gave us their original espresso machine and offered to help train our staff. We're also part of National Capital Presbytery's Missional Incubator.
Where things stand
Right now we're in construction, then we will be hiring a ministry lead and a barista, then a soft opening before the full launch in Spring of 2027
